Terms and Conditions of Sale
This English translation is provided for convenience only. The French version of this document is the only legally binding version and prevails in the event of any discrepancy. Read the French version.
Article 1 - Purpose
These terms and conditions of sale (the « Terms ») apply to all orders placed on cp-corporation.fr, operated by CP Corporation.
CP Corporation designs tailor-made professional websites, built from the customer's brief and then changed without limit until the customer is satisfied, and offers optional web hosting services.
Article 2 - Prices
Prices are set and charged in euros. Amounts shown in US dollars on the English version of the website are provided for information only (conversion rate €1 = $1.10, rounded); your bank converts the amount charged in euros at its own rate. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French Tax Code (Code général des impôts).
Current prices:
- Tailor-made showcase website: €899 (approx. $990), unlimited changes until you are satisfied
- Advanced website (booking, online shop, members' area…): on quotation
- Web hosting: 2 months free after payment for the website, then €9.99/month (approx. $10.99/month) billed annually (€119.88 per year, paid in advance)
CP Corporation reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but undertakes to invoice the services ordered at the prices shown when the order is confirmed.
Article 3 - Orders
An order is firm and final once the customer has:
- Confirmed the content of the order
- Accepted these Terms
- Made the payment due when the order is placed under Article 4 (none for a showcase website, the first deposit for a website on quotation)
- Expressly waived the right of withdrawal
Article 4 - Payment
Payments are made in euros, by bank card, through the secure Stripe platform, as follows:
- Showcase website: nothing is payable when the order is placed. The website is built from the customer's brief, shown as a private preview on cp-corporation.fr (secure link) and changed without limit until the customer is satisfied. The full price (100%) is paid before the website goes live: the website only goes live once it has been paid for.
- Advanced website on quotation: a first deposit (acompte) of 30% of the quote is due when the order is placed, a second deposit of 30% when the customer approves the mock-up, and the 40% balance on delivery, before the website goes live. Each payment gives rise to an invoice (deposit invoices, then a balance invoice deducting the deposits paid). If the customer does not approve the mock-up, the first deposit is refunded, minus the payment fees charged by Stripe, and the order ends.
- Hosting: free for the 2 months following payment for the website; after that, if the customer keeps it, it is invoiced €119.88 for 12 months (€9.99/month), paid in advance on a separate invoice. There is no monthly subscription.
A quote may provide for other terms (full payment when the order is placed, or a 30% deposit when the order is placed and the balance before go-live); they are then stated on the quote and on the invoices.
Amounts paid in advance are deposits (acomptes), not arrhes: the order is firm and the full amount of the quote remains due, subject only to the refund provided above if the mock-up is not approved.
Business customers - late payment: any amount not paid when due automatically incurs, without prior notice, late-payment penalties at the interest rate applied by the European Central Bank to its most recent refinancing operation plus 10 percentage points, together with a fixed debt-recovery fee of €40 (Articles L441-10 and D441-5 of the French Commercial Code).
Payment data is encrypted using the SSL protocol and is not stored on our servers.
Article 5 - Right of withdrawal
EXPRESS WAIVER OF THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with article L.121-20-2 of the French Consumer Code, the customer expressly waives the 14-day right of withdrawal for services whose performance has begun, with the customer's prior express consent, before the end of the withdrawal period.
Work on the website starts immediately after the order (for a website on quotation, after payment of the first deposit), which makes it impossible to exercise the right of withdrawal.
